This is a mandatory test that checks your understanding of health, safety and environmental duties on UK construction and industrial sites. It must usually be passed before a new or renewed Gold Card can be issued, unless you hold an accepted exemption.
The Registered Electrician Gold Card is normally valid for three years. You should apply to renew it before the expiry date to maintain uninterrupted site access and ECS registration status.
