Professional Winding Certification
The ECS Electrical Winder Card is for qualified electrical winders who work on the winding, repair and servicing of electrical machinery such as motors, generators and transformers. This card demonstrates competency in winding techniques, fault finding and safe working practices in line with UK health & safety standards.

Eligibility Requirements
- Relevant experience in electrical winding, rewinding or servicing of electrical machinery
- Completed and passed the ECS Health, Safety & Environmental Assessment
- Currently working in the UK electrical or engineering industry
- Typically at least 3 years’ experience in electrical winding roles
- Valid proof of identity (Passport, Driving Licence or Government-issued ID)
